Girls Rock Philly is a volunteer-based non-profit music and mentoring organization dedicated to empowering girls and young women from the greater Philadelphia region through music education and activities that foster self-respect, leadership skills, creativity, critical thinking, and collaboration.

Targeted areas include: musical development, self-esteem enhancement, friendship & community building, and nurturing individual talents within a cooperative atmosphere. Additionally, girls benefit from physical & artistic activities that complement their music instruction. www.girlsrockphilly.org.

Girls Rock Philly!

Yesterday was the first day of Barracuda Club and we couldn’t have asked for a better day. We started the day off with button making and then, of course, went into the practice space to jam. Our ‘Cudas already started to write an original song!
